Organised by Porter Press International, the Motoring Literary and Art Festival will be a celebration of automotive books, magazines, art and automobilia – and Classic & Sports Car readers will be sure to recognise some famous names.
Former staff member Richard Heseltine will be hosting sessions on both days, it will be all about Land-Rovers when long-time C&SC art editor Martin Port sits down with Julian Shoolheifer to talk about JUE 477, the world’s first production model, in one of two different marque-specific talks he’s hosting, plus former C&SC editor James Page, author of Superbears, will be in conversation with Lord Hesketh.
Also taking to the stage over the weekend will be Porter Press founder Philip Porter (pictured at the top of this page with Lord Hesketh), alongside car stylists Keith Helfet, Ian Callum and Julian Thomson, as well as Formula One journalist Lee McKenzie and F1 designer Gary Anderson.
Jackie Oliver, Peter Stevens, John Watson, Andy Palmer, Karun Chandhok and John Fitzpatrick are among the other big names confirmed.
Artists, publishers and more will feature at this celebration of automotive literature and art from 2-3 December 2023
