A Ferrari 166 Inter Coupé, the marque’s first true production car, will grace this summer’s Salon Privé.

It has been confirmed that this event, now in its 15th year, will return to Blenheim Palace on 23-26 September and this Touring-bodied, V12-engined classic that was shown at 1949’s Geneva Salon will be a real treat.

This will be joined by a Le Mans- and Mille Milglia-winning Ferrari 166MM, which also in 1949 scored both those successes – the only car to have achieved this in the same year.

Completing the trio is a 1952 Vignale-bodied 212/225 Export.

And there’s yet more for fans of the Prancing Horse, because on the Saturday of Salon Privé, the Ferrari Owners’ Club of Great Britain, an event supporter, will be bringing more than 1000 cars to the South Lawn, to battle it out for the Club Trophy.

The Ferrari story will also be brought up to date with models including the Roma and SF90 Stradale on show.

Organisers have confirmed that the event will be run in accordance with all government COVID-19 guidelines and if it is cancelled, ticket holders will receive a full refund.
